This week are continuing to prepare for STAAR.

This week we are working on Lesson 16, 18,19, 20, 21, and 22.

There are only 4 more complete weeks left for the Reading STAAR exam.

This week we have a field trip on Friday to the Starr County Fair.
Wednesday Feb. 24 we have early dismissal.

This week we will continue to work on lessons from the Measuring Up book in preparation for the up coming STAAR exam.

Reminder for this week we are taking Math and Reading district benchmarks! Rememeber to go to sleep early and try your absolute best.

This is the end of the six weeks, so all missing assignments need to be turned in ASAP!

I would for you to ponder on Mr. Browne's precept alittle more and think about what it means to be kind and to choose kind... What does it mean to be kind? Who do you want to be? How do you want to be remebered?

Lesson 7 Use Roots and Affixes to Determine Word Meaning
Lesson 8 Use Context Clues to Determine Word Meaning

On Thursday and Friday we will be discussing the novel readings for this week from the "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio.
This Friday we will be having a Valentine's Dance.
Next week we will be benchmark for Math and Reading
Tuesday will be Math
Wednesday will be Reading

Algebra, Science and Social Studies will be benchmarked in April.

STAAR Reading will be March 30
